Lifeguard Scott DeBoer wears a face mask at Topanga Beach

Title

Lifeguard Scott DeBoer wears a face mask at Topanga Beach

Description

Two weeks after Los Angeles partially ended their COVID-19 beach closure on May 13, 2020, a sign on the Topanga Beach lifeguard tower shows new pandemic rules. The sign says, "Beach responsibly. No picnicking. No canopies. No coolers. Physical distancing of 6+ feet required. Face coverings required out of the water and around others." Lying or sitting on the sand was still prohibited.
