The Spiral Staircase House on Topanga Lane

Title

The Spiral Staircase House on Topanga Lane

Description

The Spiral Staircase House at 3924 Topanga Lane is boarded up. Cult leader and serial killer Charles Manson and his Family stayed here in 1967. He recruited his youngest member, Dianne Lake, here, and nicknamed her "Snake," which may have something to do with why the neighborhood became known as "The Snake Pit."
